说不好。ASP有MS支持，PHP和JSP号称跨平台，在Linux和Unix下可以用。现在比较大的网站大概都用的是PHP或者Servlet，据说是安全性比较好。要吃饭的话，这3个都靠不住

靠什么吃饭？Unix下的标准C最稳妥；Oracle和别的大型数据库也还靠得住；C++和Java也勉强只会点什么ASP什么的，只够和路边的野鸡电脑班出来的速成"IT专家"竞争竞争，哪够靠着拿吃饭的呀

I've never seen any big websites using PHP. But I've seen lots of big sites using asp.

ASP的开发效率比较高,所以成本低,如果配合COM设计,可以设计出复杂而稳定的网站,这就是为什么很多公司使用ASP的原因

XML is data. HTML is presentation and data. So they are kinda different. But maybe XHTML.

XML is used to describe data; HTML is used to present data. They are different. With XML, you can difine your own tags.

1.XHTML(XML and HTML) combo 2. For the future device independant you may try XML data sturcture with XSL for data transfering to HTML presentation.

Please check http://www.php.net/usage.php , http://www.php.net/usage.php, and http://www.securityspace.com/s_survey/data/index.html for the date.Actually I have tried Asp (VB and Jscript), PHP, Perl, I am not an expert on those, but personally I like PHP the best.

Doesn't matter whether you like it or not. In term of coding, I like ColdFusion the most. But I don't think it stands a chance to compete against .NET and java, same stories applied to other web languages.

PHP is growing fast. I like PHP much more than Asp.<a href="http://www.php.net/usage.php" target="_blank">Please check this page for the usage of PHP.</a>
I like this much better than ASP, easy to handle file upload, forms, array , powerful, stable and fast.
