I just landing in toronto a few days before.
I work as a Oracle DBA in software company of china, most database is China Telecom and China Mobil.
Before I work as programmer ( Oracle relative), so I have good experience to tunning SQL and application, Troubleshoot, peform Backup and Recovery.
现在的问题是，我该如何准备才能找到一个DBA的工作，DBA一般都要求比较好的英语书写和口语能力。而这正是我所欠缺的啊？
各位DX给一些建议把！

I think u can try ESL classes in colleges like seneca college, these classes are useful.(my own opinion).

DBA需要比programmer更强的交流能力，我建议你还是从developer着手吧。

英语不过关，即使做了DBA也很辛苦，踢不出去的球都由你接了。试试Developer吧，英语提高也不是一两天的事。
