So, does that mean there will be a grace period of 12 hours available automatically in case the "May 31" was written on an agreement or a lease as the move-out date in BC?

Not about grace period. Most rental starts on the 1st day of a month. If one moves, he clears everything from the old place before noon, put them on a moving truck. After noon, new tenant can move in.
