Why do you think marijuana is more harmful? The consensus is, alcohol is much more harmful. Tobacco is more harmful. So, why single out marijuana and put people into prison because of that?

It looks like you are not sure how harmful is marijuana. Then why should we criminalize something we are not sure? It's legalized in Netherlands, as well as Colorado and Washington state in US. The sky is not falling there.
