The purpose of this Forum is to provide information and inspiration for helping immigrants and new comers finding broader employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, as well as inspiring them for personal achievement and socio-economic contribution.  <o:p></o:p>

The Forum will be hosted by Dr. Howard Xiaohua Lin, Professor of International Business and Entrepreneurship and Director of International Research Institute at Ryerson’s Ted Rogers School of Management. Howard is active international business research community. He is current Chair of the Academy of International Business’s Canada Chapter and former Chair of the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada’s International Business Division. He was the founder of the Centre for the Study of Canada-Asia Business at the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor. A 2006 report by Michigan State University has ranked Howard among the top 40 most prolific scholars in International Business research based on cumulative publication counts in five leading international business journals. Howard is a leader in immigrant and transnational entrepreneurship research in Canada. He currently leads two multi-year research projects funded by the Social Sciences and Humanity Research Council on immigrant and transnational entrepreneurship. He has served as the Ontario regional director for the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship and recently elected as its Vice President-Research. <o:p></o:p>
The keynotes speaker is Henry Huiyao Wang, the Vice Chairman of China Western Returned Scholars Association, the founder and chairman of its Chamber of Commerce, which is the largest chamber for Chinese returnees and elites trained in the Western countries. Henry is also the Chairman of AEA International Business Consulting Ltd. Henry served as a senior China business adviser and consultant to many large multinationals such as GE, Siemens, ABB, Westinghouse, Mitsubishi, Seiko, Epson and others for their business development and operations in China. He has also been awarded as the “Top Ten Returnee Entrepreneurs” in China as well as the “Top Ten Most Respected Returnees” in China. Henry obtained his BA degree in China and his MBA degree in Canada and continued to pursue his Ph.D. studies in international business at the Ivey Business School of University of Western Ontario and also undertook further training at Manchester and Harvard Business Schools.
