On Saturday morning, I texted her and she texted back, "Shopping with mom."

We began messaging each other on Sunday night. The surroundings were quiet.

"You have been busy these last couple of days?" I sipped a glass of wine as I continued to type, "hope everything is OK."

She responded that she'd been really busy.

"Did you have fun yesterday," I paused and continued, "with your mom?"

"Yeah, I had fun last night. I couldn't sleep for like two hours, I was calling my friends like crazy..."

"Do you like Cary Grant or George Clooney?" I tried to change the subject.

"Both."

"Hmmm, you must like old Cary Grant movies. I do, too." I paused, "Especially Charade."

"What?" she seemed surprised.

"One of my favorites. Fabulous!" I began to cheer up and couldn't really think of anything else I can brag about.

Then she just lost interest and said she was really tired.
