    I invited her for a drink. She said maybe we could do two for the sake of Friday night. We went to a bar in downtown. She was in black suit that fit her athletic figure smoothly.

    I ordered a beer for her and a straight scotch for myself.

    "I'm a big drinker," I started my words.

    "Wow, just like my father." She chuckled.

    "How's your father?" I asked her.

    "Divorced my mother before we came to Canada. The last time I saw him was 6 years ago."

    "I'm sorry," I tried to change the topic.

    "I'm thinking to buy a condo," My tone became a little more serious and I watched her young face light up as she looked at me.

    "At this time?"

    "Well, my age..." I didn't know what I could say. I'm too old to wait. But I refused to say so.

    Our conversation turned into her talk with her giving me advice on the topic.

    We had a good time on talking. But it was futile. A big age gap. And I knew it from the beginning.
