本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛我妈妈（62岁）是加拿大永久居民，下周二要进行美国签证面试，有几个问题想要请教大家。
1）上网查询中国国籍的申请者B2类美国签证申请，签证好像只是给12个月有效，不需要签证费，是这样的吗？我怎么听说很多时候签证官一批就是10年有效期的美国签证呢？
2）妈妈只是懂一丁点英文，根本不足以应付签证官的面试提问，我可以做她的翻译吗？面试确认邮件中提及一下内容，貌似子女不能进入。如果是这样，妈妈可以申请翻译吗？如果可以申请，翻译费是多少呢？
