when i first went abroad for study, i was the only one Chinese in the class. and i was so shy that i didn't dare to ask any question. people thought i was so stupid that i didn't understand at all what was going on. one of the merits in western countries, you gotta be aggressive!

years later after i came to Canada, i made myself "aggressive" and kept asking questions. now people became even more annoyed and thought i was so stupid that i didn't understand at all what was going on.

if people don't like you, they don't like you anyways.
