Yes, I am living in that area but not the exactly buildings you maybe live in. I never go out by myself after 9:00pm so I don't have any idea about the safety at night.

As far as I know, you can take the bus and get off right in front those appartments. Personally, I don't like that area too much because there are not many trees and parks. If you like to go out after dinner for relaxing, it will be harder for you find a good route. Anyhow, it's close to subway.

If you like to living in downtown, i can suggest you a good area for living. Duffrin and bloor(duffrin subway station). I lived there for 1 year. you can find that everything you want is close to you. swimming pool, park, library, video rental, big malls with walmart and nofrill in.

I will live in an apartment. why I am asking this question is that day when I visited the apartment, there are some teenages followed me till to the subway station, which scared me. And when I asked the subway officer about the safety as I walk to home at night after 9:00pm, the officer told me that it's not so safe. So I need you information by your experience.
