if you want to work in hospital, please only try michener and mohawk, but the school entrance rate is very tough, above 1:10. so many chinese doctors failed. it is a good job for excellent benefit in hospital and high pay, entrance level is around $29/hour. and you can work overtime, 1.5 times pay, and easy to find a part time job if you want to earn more, so the total salary is high.

The 2 official programs are definitely better, however, it's too late to apply for Sept. entry now and I'm thinking of taking an alternative to avoid the long waiting. Seems to me the official training is not a must for medical graduates to get a license in this area? Looking forward to your comments. Thanks in advance.

the working envirment in hosptial is much better than clinic but people sometimes have to work overtime or oncall shift. the hospital charges have hundreds of people's resume on hand who got trained from unofficial schools or oversea, but they do not want to hire anyone no matter how long these people work in clinic. i never work in clinic before, no idea about that. i highly recommond hospital job, it is not only work, it can be your career.

the main thing is to find a job not go to school, but the good school can bring your great return,and work in health care field, you don't worry about your whole life, you know you are safe, just enjoy your work and life, so it is worthy to try. michener ultrasound has very high repution even in usa, and about 70% of students were doctors before immigrant, every year few chinese doctor can get

some places in usa, u/s technologists work 3 days(12 hours/day) as a full-time just like nurses, so many tech find another full-time or part-time job, so the salary is easy to over 100k if you work hard. In toronto, tech usually work like general shift, 8:00-4:00 or 9:00-5:00, 5 days a week, in some hospitals, people have night shift, in some hosptial people have on-call shift over night or weekend, it depends on different hospitals. in night shift, the salary is only several dollars more than your regular rate per hour, and in on call shift, it is good time to earn money as 1.5 times your regular rate.
