Nobody will reply your email if the professor doesn't like you. They are extreamly busy people. Hundreds people will contact with them just to get their support. What you should do is to continue to show your interest to his research area, show your attitude. And try to get his support for your admission. Universities in Canada are different with China, They are very flexible and more care about people. There's no certain rule at all.

You got to do your best to contact with that professor. the process is only process, doesn't mean anything if the professor willing to help you!!!!

建议你花功夫在其他申请材料上，不要在乎那点儿申请费，试试吧。

教授对你感兴趣，但没有非常强烈的想接收你。因为即使你的GPA不够，只要教授出面去系里争取也是没问题的，只要他肯出全奖。但很明显他不想那样做（除非这个学生某方面特别出众，教授才会去那样做的）。所以你还是要通过系里走正常途径。那样希望就不是很大了。条件不够，如果没有教授同意接收，一上来就会被排除了。如果是够线了，但比较低，还有希望。总之，可以申请试试，同时和教授保持联系再努努力，再试试别的学校。good luck!
