本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛今年八月我们在向往已久的Orlando--Disney 度过了难忘的八天. 回来后一星期, 每天夜里在梦中我还在迪斯尼公园里流连忘返呢. 大家都打趣我说这门票买得真值, 别人只能用七天, 我却可以无限期连用. 女儿写了一篇 "作业", 包括了我们觉得 "must see" 的一些游乐项目, 贴在这儿给想去的朋友一些建议. 总之, 这是一个充满童真, 活力, 趣味, 梦想, 让孩子两眼发亮, 让成人叹为关止的地方, 这是一个你一生一定要去一次的地方.
Disney — The Dreams Come True
Disney, the world of dreams and wishes come true. It’s the place where every child aspires to be. It’s the magical land of all our favourite cartoon characters come to life. What more could anyone want. Well, lots. Air conditioning for one. The other? A pool. Not only is it hot beyond belief there, the humidity added with the fact that you are outside almost all day makes the heat absolutely unbearable.
However, Disney offers much more than just the sun. There are thrilling roller coasters as well as rides, classic and unforgettable parades and exciting shows beyond your imagination. There’s something for every member of the family. The four theme parks, magic kingdom, Epcot, Animal kingdom and the MGM studios are all different in many ways. It’s like stepping into another world and when you come home, it seems like only a surreal dream.
However, be prepared for early mornings, late nights and mountains upon mountains of people crowding all around you. Sure if you have the time you are definitely welcome to go to the park late in the morning, but be prepared for hour long lines sometimes, in the scorching heat. The lines are always the shortest for ALL attractions in either the morning or at night. I guess no one likes to wake up early there. Sometimes you can even get to the most popular rides with practically no wait time at all. How about that! Also, expect the foot courts to be packed after the noon, actually, expect any and all Disney theme parks to be packed after noon.
However, if you have some extra time on your hands and really don’t feel like visiting the four theme parks again, there are many more options. For the animal lovers, Sea World is a must see. For those people whom just love exhilarating rides, bush garden is where you need to be. The water parks of Walt Disney are an absolute no miss for everyone. Orlando’s Universal Studios, well, I don’t even need to tell you why this is a must go place. It’s just that great.
With awesome shows, fun rides, the best parades and dreams coming true all around you, Disney world is a truly magical place to be, or that might be just the heat speaking, hallucinations I hear, are just a minor side affect to extreme heat.
