My car is 95 sunfire 2.2l, today my wife drove it on high way, at first she feel like little bit weak on power then whole car shake once then speed went down and fast, she pull side then stop the car (not turn off the engine), she found the engine has stalled for a while already. the car could not start again. Call CAA.....
I checked the car: engine rotates but not start; I can not hear the sound from fuel pump when I turn the key on. fuel pump relay is clicking when I just turn on the key switch, I by pass that relay still not hear the fuel pump sound.
Can I say: fuel pump is dead ?
To replace this pump how much it's cost?
