Bell Mobility launches #SAFE and #AIDE to directly link callers to a support service for women experiencing abuse.

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛A call for help often involves reaching for the phone. Ontario's Assaulted Women's Helpline and SOS violence conjugale in Québec receive over 25,000 calls a year each from abused women. Now, women can make those calls more easily and quickly.
Bell Mobility has launched #SAFE and #AIDE in Ontario and Québec. By dialing those five simple digits on their mobile phone, callers are directly linked to a support service for women experiencing abuse. In Ontario, callers who subscribe to Bell Mobility are connected to the Assaulted Women's Helpline, and Québec callers are linked to SOS violence conjugale.

Women can call either of these telephone crisis lines 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if they are in need of crisis counseling, emotional support, safety planning, information or referrals. Not only are callers guaranteed anonymity and confidentiality, but the call is free and doesn't show up on their phone bill.

This link program is an extension of Bell Mobility's Women's Shelter Program and our 2nd Stage Program, which provide shelters and women with free used mobile phones and discounted services including unlimited local calling, call display (incoming calls only), and access to 911.

In offering the #SAFE and #AIDE links, Bell Mobility continues to provide women with leading wireless products and services to help them meet their communication needs in terms of personal well being, safety and security.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
